As part of the Transportation/Parks Committee of the Whole consent recommendations, the board approved entering into the Metropolitan Council subrecipient grant agreement to receive CMAQ funds for the county’s Transportation Management Organization (Commute Solutions) for January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026.

The board approved awarding the construction contract to North Pine Aggregate, Inc. for improvements at the intersections of 109th Avenue with Tournament Players Parkway/Mankato Street and Radisson Road in the City of Blaine.

The board approved a deer-management resolution authorizing the Parks Department to issue permits for archery deer hunting in designated areas of Bunker Hills Regional Park, Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve, Rum River Central Regional Park, Lake George Regional Park, and Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, with permits effective from October 24, 2026 through December 31, 2026 (with certain restrictions) and a request for a post-season analysis before the 2027 deer hunting season.
